#1. Potato Peels

Things Required:

Fresh potato peels  1 cup
Distilled water  2 glasses

Directions To Do:

  1. Firstly, place a small bowl and all the given ingredients into it.
  2. Now place the bowl on a low flame so that the mixture boils for a few minutes.
  3. Wait until the color of the potato mixture turns to yellow color.
  4. Remove the mixture from the heat after about 10 minutes.
  5. After that, wait for a few minutes until the mix gets cool down.
  6. During this time, the mix might turn to dark brown or black color. You don’t have to worry when this happens.
  7. Now strain the potato peel water separately in another bowl leaving the residues behind.
  8. Then use your regular shampoo and wash your hair with water to make it free from any impurities.
  9. Squeeze all the excess water in your hair and allow it to get dry for a few minutes.
  10. Once it becomes dry, start applying the potato peel mix all over your hair.
  11. Then cover your hair using a shower cap and leave it to get dry for about 30 to 45 minutes.
  12. Now start washing your hair with warm or cold water.

#2. Fenugreek Powder Mix

Curry leaves (powdered)  4 tbsp
Fenugreek seeds (powdered)  4 tbsp
Indian gooseberry powder  1/2 cup
Coconut oil  250 ml

  1. Place a small bowl and add the coconut oil into it.
  2. Then add all the other mentioned ingredients one by one into the bowl that contains the coconut oil.
  3. Now stir the mixture well using a spoon.
  4. After that, place the bowl on a very low flame.
  5. Allow the mixture to get boiled for about 15 minutes.
  6. Then remove it from the heat and allow the mix to get cool down. Leave the mix undisturbed for about 24 hours.
  7. Start to apply this mix on your hair by covering all the portions of your hair.
  8. You can store this mix in a small bottle and use it for the future days.
  9. Then leave it to get dry for some time and then you can wash your hair with warm or cold water.

#3. Onion Juice

Things Required:

Fresh onion  1
Fresh lemon  1

  1. Firstly, take a small onion and peel the outer skin layer completely from it.
  2. Then cut then onion into a few slices.
  3. Now put the sliced onion pieces into a blender and grind it until it turns to a fine paste.
  4. You can also add a few drops of water if you find the consistency to be too thick.
  5. Then strain the onion juice in a small bowl using a strainer or a cheesecloth.
  6. Now take one fresh lemon and squeeze the lime extract directly into the filtered onion juice.
  7. Stir the mixture well.
  8. Now you can start to apply the juice mix all over your hair using your fingertips.
  9. Leave the mix to stay on your hair for about 20 to 30 minutes.
  10. Then rinse your hair with warm or cold water. You can also use any herbal shampoo if you want to get rid of the onion smell from your hair.

#4. Castor Oil Mix

Things Required:

Castor oil  1 tbsp
Brandy  1 tbsp
Raw honey  1 tbsp
Egg yolk  1

  2. Now whisk the mixture well until the egg yolk and the other ingredients get mixed together.
  3. Start applying this egg mix all over your hair.
  4. You can also give a gentle massage to your hair while applying the mixture using your fingertips.
  5. Then cover your hair using a shower cap and leave the mix to stay on your hair for about 2 to 3 hours.
  6. After that, you can start to rinse your hair with cold water. Do not use warm or hot water for washing your hair as this mix contains egg content in it.
  7. You can use a small amount of herbal shampoo for washing your hair.

#5. Carrot Juice Blend

Things Required:

Fenugreek seed (powdered)  50 g
Sesame oil  100 ml
Carrot juice  100 ml

  1. Firstly, take a small bottle and add the given ingredients one by one into it.
  2. Once all the ingredients are added, close the bottle and shake it well to make them get combined well.
  3. Now place the bottle containing the mix under the sun for about 21 days.
  4. Then take the bottle and pour a small amount of the oil blend in your palm.
  5. Start massaging your scalp and hair with the oil blend for a few minutes.
  6. Make sure that your entire hair is covered with the oil blend.
  7. Then wash your hair using the shampoo and conditioner.

Grapeseed oil  1 tbsp
Clary sage essential oil  3 drops
Egg yolk or Egg oil  2 or 1 tbsp

  2. Then whisk the mixture well until the egg yolk gets combined well with the other ingredients.

  4. If you are using egg oil, then you can prefer applying this mix before going to bed and leave it to stay on your hair for overnight.
  5. Or if you use egg yolk, then allow it to dry for about 45 minutes.
  6. Now start rinsing your hair with any herbal shampoo. Always prefer using cold water if you are using egg yolk. Avoid the usage of hot or warm water as it would make the egg to get boiled and stuck in your hair.
