It can be daunting, at least we cannot deny. Here are some home remedies through which you can make a natural lip balm which will help in nourishing the lips and also repairing the damages. Rose Mica And Peppermint Lip Balm

Things you will need:

 Coconut oil  2 tbsp
 Beeswax  1 tbsp
 Shea Butter  1 tbsp
 Rose Mica Powder  1/2 Tsp
 Peppermint Oil  2-4 drops

Procedure:

  1. Take a vessel and fill it with water.
  2. In a bowl, add 2 tbsp of coconut oil, 1 tbsp of beeswax and 1 tbsp of shea butter in it.
  3. Using the double boiler method, melt all the ingredients.
  4. Take it off the flame after it has melted.
  5. Add the remaining ingredients to it and mix them well as well.
  6. Let the concoction cool down for it to solidify.

Use this as requird on chapped and damaged lips.

This lip balm helps in nourishing the lips and repairing all the damage. Peppermint oil helps in naturally scrubbing the impurities of the lips. Rose mica adds a natural pink tint to the lips and the wax hydrates and moisturizes them.

Shea Butter, Cocoa butter And Coconut Oil Balm

Things you will need:

 Shea butter  1/4th Cup
 Cocoa butter  1/4th Cup
 Coconut Oil  2 Tsp
 Beeswax  3 Tsp
 Honey  2 Tsp

Procedure:

  1. Take a saucepan, and add shea butter, cocoa butter, coconut oil and beeswax into it.
  2. Melt it on a low flame and once done, take it off the heat.
  3. Add honey to it and stir for a few seconds. Allow it to cool down just a bit.
  4. It can quickly harden so don’t let it rest for more than a few seconds.
  5. Transfer this into a bowl and allow it to cool for an hour.
  6. Take some balm with your fingers and apply it on your lips.

Apply this either after scrubbing the lips or everyday when your lips feel dry.

The butters help in moisturizing the lips and they also help in repairing cracked and dry lips. Honey also helps in moisturizing the lips whilst killing the bacteria that causes dark spots, cracks and pigmentation on the lips. It also contains antioxidant properties which help in repairing all the lip damage.

Rosehip Lip Balm

Things you will need:

 Dried Rosehip Oil  1/4th Cup
 Olive oil  3/4th Cup
 Beeswax  1 oz
 Shea butter  1/2 oz
 Rose Hip Oil  1 tbsp
 Orange Essential Oil  12 drops

Procedure:

  1. Take a bowl, add 1/4th cup of rosehip oil and mix it with 3/4th cup of olive oil.
  2. Let it sit to infuse in a cool and dark place for 4-6 weeks.
  3. Take a vessel, fill it with water and bring it to boil. Take a bowl, add the infused rosehip oil, beeswax and shea butter in it.
  4. Melt all the ingredients really well in the double boiler arrangement.
  5. When everything has liquefied, remove it from heat and stir in all the other remaining ingredients in it.
  6. Pour the mixture into a lip balm tube and let it cool down for several hours. Let it harden.
  7. Scoop some of it on your fingers and apply it on your lips.

Apply this whenever your lips feel chapped, dry or undernourished.

Its a natural way of nourishing the lips. Orange essential oil helps in lightening the dark lips and making it look pink and softer. The oils and waxes moisturize the skin and also hydrate it. This hydration helps in repairing the damage from within.

Jojoba, Vanilla And Cocoa Butter

Things you will need:

 Jojoba Oil  1 oz
 Vanilla Essential Oil  1/2 Tsp
 Beeswax  1 oz
 Cocoa butter  1 oz

Procedure:

  1. Use a double boiler method and melt 1 oz of beeswax and 1 oz of cocoa butter in it.
  2. Once the wax is melted, add in the other ingredients to it.
  3. Mix all the ingredients really well.
  4. Pour it in a container and let the concoction solidify.
  5. Scoop some of this balm out on your finger and apply it onto your lips.

Apply the balm whenever your lips feel dry and undernourished.

The butters helps in nourishing the lips, hydrating it and repairing the damage from within. Jojoba oil contains excessive fat which also contribute in nourishing the lip. Vanilla adds a nice flavour and fragrance to the balm.

Calendula, Beeswax And Lavender Oil

Things you will need:

 Shea Butter  3 Tsp
 Calendula Oil  1/2 Cup
 Beeswax  6 Tsp
 Lavender Oil  10 drops
 Bergamot Essential Oil  10 drops

  1. Take a bowl and add 3 Tsp of shea butter and 6 Tsp of beeswax in it.
  2. Put it in the microwave for 10-20 seconds and melt both of them.

  4. Mix them all well.
  5. Pour this mix into a container and let it solidify.
  6. Scoop some of it when the mix has dried and apply it onto your lips.

Use this remedy twice in a day on your lips.

Calendula contain antibacterial properties and anti-inflammatory properties which help in keeping the lips inflammation-free and also prevent spots and marks. If your lips are irritated, using this balm will help in soothing the inflammation as well as repairing the damage. The remaining ingredients help in moisturizing the lips and making them pink and smooth.

Coconut oil, Honey And Argan Oil Balm

Things you will need:

 Coconut oil  3 tbsp
 Honey  1/2 Tsp
 Argan Oil  20 drops

Procedure:

  1. Take a microwaveable bowl and add all the ingredients in it.
  2. Put the bowl in the microwave and heat it for 10-30 seconds.
  3. Take it out from the microwave and mix it well.
  4. Place the mixture in the refrigerator and leave it to solidify.
  5. Once done, take it out, scoop some in your fingers and apply it onto your lips.
  6. If you see the mix melt, keep it stored in the refrigerator itself.

Use the lip balm whenever your lips feel parched or dry.

Honey contains antioxidants which help in scrubbing both the dead skin as well as darkness away. Argan oil helps in hydrating the skin which repairs the damage from deeper roots. Cococnut oil contains antibacterial properties which help in killing the bacteria that damage the lips and make them appear darker.
