Things you will need:

Turmeric Powder 1 tbsp
Raw milk 2 tbsp

  2. Mix both the ingredients really well to make a usable consistent paste.
  3. Apply this onto the dark spots and leave it on for 20-25 minutes.
  4. Rinse it off using lukewarm water and pat dry.

  1. Take an aloe vera leaf and peel it off.
  2. Scoop its gel into a fresh bowl and beat it to make it into a sticky but runny consistency.
  3. Take a cotton ball and dip it in the solution. Apply it directly onto the dark areas.
  4. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes and then rinse it off using water. Pat dry.

Use this treatment every alternate day.

Honey And Oil Mix

Things you will need:

Honey 1 tbsp
Olive Oil 1 tbsp

  1. Take a bowl, add 1 tbsp of honey, 1 tbsp of olive oil and squeeze in 1/2 a lemon into it.

  4. Rinse it off and pat dry.

Repeat this procedure everynight before going to sleep.

Onion 1
Apple cider vinegar Equal portions
Water (Optional)

  1. Take an onion, peel it and grate it. Using a cheesecloth, extract its juice.
  2. Now, add an equal portion of apple cider vinegar into it. Mix both the ingredients well. Add water if you have sensitive skin.
  3. Dip a cotton ball into it and apply it on the dark spots.
  4. Leave it on for 5-10 minutes and then rinse it off. Pat dry.

Do this every day till you see the area going light.

Apple cider vinegar contains glycol which is known to clear up the skin. It removes the dead skin while evening it out. When mixed with onion juice, the effect doubles.

Brown Sugar And Nutmeg

Things you will need:

Brown Sugar 1/4th cup
Nutmeg 1 Tsp
Milk 1 tbsp
Clove Essential oil 2-3 drops

Procedure:

  1. Take a bowl, add 1/4th cup of sugar, 1 Tsp of nutmeg, 1 tbsp of milk and 2-3 drops of clove essential oil in it.
  2. Mix all the ingredients really well and apply it onto the dark spots.
  3. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes and rinse it off using warm water. Pat dry.

Use this every alternate day.

Sugar contains glycolic acid which helps in scrubbing out the dead skin. Milk on the other hand is whitening agent which helps in brightening the skin.

Vitamin E Treatment

Things you will need:

Vitamin E oil 2-3 Capsules
Cotton 1

  1. Take 2-3 vitamin E capsule and puncture them to squeeze out their oil content into a bowl.
  2. Dip cotton into it and let it soak all the oil.

  2. Mix both the ingredients really well. You have to make sure it is slightly on the runny side and not in the paste form.
  3. Dip a cotton ball into it and apply it onto the dark spots.
  4. Let it sit for a few minutes and then clean it using cold water. Pat dry.

Use this remedy every day till you see the area going lighter.

Buttermilk contains lactic acid which is great when it comes to lightening skin. It removes the dirt and dead skin fom the skin which make the skin dry and go dead causing the darkness.

Cottage Cheese And Lemon Treatment

Things you will need:

Cottage cheese 1 tbsp
Lemon juice 5 drops

Procedure:

  1. Take cottage cheese and mash it to achieve a smooth consistency.
  2. Now, take a bowl, add 1 tbsp of the mashed cottage cheese and 5 drops of lemon juice into it.
  3. Mix both the ingredients really well and apply it onto the affected skin.
  4. Leave it on for 20 minutes and then rinse it off using water. Pat dry.

Repeat this treatment once every single week.

Cottage cheese contain vitamin E and antioxidants which helps in preventing ageing signs which also make the skin darker. It also improve the overall condition of the skin.

While pigmentation is a very common problem, skin tans really quickly when it comes to either because of the sun or even pollution. However, there are some parts of the body which become darker and getting rid of this becomes almost impossible. But the above-mentioned remedies are always there to help you out.
