Yoghurt, Egg And Honey

Things you will need:

 Yoghurt  1 tbsp
 Egg White  of 1 egg
 Honey  1 tbsp
 Almond Oil  1/2 tbsp

Procedure:

  1. Take a bowl and break open one egg into it. Use only the white part.
  2. Using a fork, whip it nicely till it turns into a runny concoction.
  3. Add in 1 tbsp of yoghurt, 1 tbsp of honey and 1/2 tbsp of almond oil in it.
  4. Mix all the ingredients really well. Place it for 5 minutes in the refrigerator.
  5. Apply this mixture onto your face and leave it on for half an hour.
  6. Rinse it off using cold water and pat the skin dry.

Repeat this treatment 3-4 times a week in order to tighten you skin and avoid wrinkles.

Egg white is a natural ingredients which when applied to face works like a mask and tightens the skin. It also improves the collagen production in the skin which in turn improves its elasticity. Honey contains antioxidants which repair the damage from the skin’s deeper roots.

Banana, Avocado And Honey

Things you will need:

 Banana  1/2
 Avocado  1
 Honey  1/2 Tsp

Procedure:

  1. Take a bowl and add 1/2 a banana in it.
  2. Scoop 1 avocado’s pulp in it and using a fork, mash both the ingredients.
  3. Add in 1/2 Tsp of honey into it and mix them well.
  4. Apply this mask onto your skin and leave it to dry.
  5. Once done, peel it off by using warm water.
  6. Rinse one more time using cold water and pat the skin dry.

Repeat this treatment 2-3 times in a week.

Banana contains potassium and vitamin A which help in improving the collagen of the skin and making the skin elastic. Honey, with its antioxidants, helps in working on the damaged skin and repairing it from within. Avocado contains vitamin E which eradicates skin ageing signs like dark spots as well as wrinkles.

Remedies For Freckles

Lemon, Honey And Salt

Things you will need:

 Lemon Juice  1 tbsp
 Honey  1 tbsp
 Salt  A pinch

Procedure:

  1. Take a bowl, add 1 tbsp of lemon juice, 1 tbsp of honey and a pinch of salt in it.
  2. Mix all the ingredients really well to make a concoction.

  4. Rinsing it off with plain water and pat the skin dry.
  5. Finish with a moisturizer.

Repeat this treatment daily till you see the freckles gone.

Things you will need:

 Ground oats  1 tbsp
 Lemon  1

Procedure:

  1. Take a bowl and add 1 tbsp of ground oats in it.
  2. Squeeze 1 whole lemon into it and mix the ingredients really well.
  3. If the mix is too dry, add in a little water or rosewater to make a paste out of it.
  4. Apply this onto your skin and massage while doing so in a circular motion for 2 minutes.
  5. Leave it on for 20 minutes and rinse it off using warm water.

Repeat this treatment 2-3 times in a week.

Oats are excellent ingredients when it comes to exfoliating the skin and working against freckles. It contains antioxdiants which helps in repairing the skin damage like freckles as well as wrinkles.

Horseradish And Vinegar

Things you will need:

 Grated Horseradish  2 tbsp
 Wine Vinegar  2 cups

Procedure:

  1. Take half a horseradish and grate it, add 2 tbsp of it to a bowl and mix it with 2 cups of vinegar really well.
  2. Leave this mixture under the sun for 10 days and then strain it.
  3. Add 1 tbsp of white flour to the strained mix and stir it well.
  4. Apply it either on your entire face or directly on the freckles.
  5. Leave it on for 15 minutes and rinse it off using warm water.

Use the remedy once daily, for 7 days straight, to see the freckles lightened.

This remedy is known to work on freckles and when mixed with vinegar, it helps in fading them too. Applying it constantly on the freckles for 7 days straight will remove it significantly.

Remedies For Dark Spots

Turmeric, Yoghurt And Lemon

Things you will need:

 Turmeric Powder  1 Tsp
 Yoghurt  1 tbsp
 Lemon Juice  1 Tsp
 Ground Oatmeal  1 tbsp

  1. Take a bowl, add 1 Tsp of turmeric powder, 1 tbsp of yoghurt, 1 Tsp of lemon juice and 1 tbsp of oatmeal in it.

  3. Apply this onto your face and leave it on for 30 minutes.
  4. Massage for 5 minutes and rinse it off using cold water.
  5. Pat the skin dry and finish with a moisturizer.

Repeat this treatment 2 times in a week.

Turmeric contains properties which directly inhibit melanin production. Lemon juice and yogurt on the other hand help in lightening dark spots while promoting collagen production. Oatmeal exfoliates dead cells and makes skin bright. The mask also work as a protectant from the UV rays.

Onion And Potato

Things you will need:

 Onion  1/2
 Potato  1

Procedure:

  1. Take 1/2 an onion, peel it off and grate it into smaller shreds.
  2. Take 1 whole potato, peel it and grate it.
  3. Toss both the ingredients in a cheesecloth and squeeze in order to extract the juice.
  4. Dip a cotton ball in it and apply the juice onto your skin.
  5. Leave it on for 15 minutes and rinse it off using cold water.
  6. Pat the skin dry and finish with a moisturizer.

Repeat this treatment thrice in a week.

Onion and potato both help in fading the dark spots. It is the sulfenic acid in onion which contributes in lightening the dark spots. Potato with its starch does exactly that without being too harsh on the skin.
