  1. Coconut water – 1 cup
  2.  Rosewater – a quarter of a teaspoon
  3. Witch Hazel – a quarter of a teaspoon

2. Lavender Face Mist


  1. Distilled Water – 1 cup
  2. Lavender Essential Oil – 5 drops
  3. Witch Hazel – 1 teaspoon


  1. Mix all the ingredients well and shake them in a spritz bottle.
  2. Spray it over your face in between makeup procedures or leave it overnight.

This concoction is best for oily skin people. It keeps the skin hydrated.

3. Hibiscus Tea Face Mist


  1. Hibiscus Tea Bags – 2
  2. Vitamin C powder – Half a teaspoon
  3. Water – 1 Cup
  4. Witch Hazel – 1 teaspoon

  1. Extract tea from the hibiscus tea bags using water.
  2. Mix the vitamin C powder and witch hazel.
  3. In a spritz bottle pour the concoction.

This is a great hydrating spray that improves complexion, retains the sebum in the face thereby giving you a soft, tight facial skin.

5. Rose Water Toner


  1. Rose water – half a cup
  2. Jojoba oil – 1 teaspoon


  1. combine both the ingredients in a spritz bottle.
  2. Shake well.
  3. Use it as and when it is necessary.

This is a relaxing spray that maintains the pH balance of the skin. Further, it has a calming effect on the body.

6. Glycerin Face Mist


  1. Glycerin – 1 tablespoon
  2. Distilled Water – 1 cup
  3. Ylang Ylang oil – 2 drops


  1. Combine all the three ingredients and use it when required.

Glycerin is an emollient, that provides moisture and keeps the skin hydrated. You can use any essential oil in place of Ylang Ylang oil.

Pregnant women and feeding mothers need to be careful while using these face mists as they tend to get absorbed by the skin and carried throughout the body. So check with your doctor before using this.
