DIY CTM for oily skin

Cleanser

Green tea will gently cleanse your skin without breaking it out.

Ingredients: 

  • Green tea: 2 tablespoons
  • Rice flour: 1 tablespoon
  • Gram flour: 2 tablespoons
  • Wild turmeric powder: half a teaspoon

Process:

  1. Add all the ingredients in a container and mix well.
  2. Remember to use a little water with this natural face wash while using it.
  3. Apply it evenly all over your face.
  4. Gently massage for a while in a circular motion applying light pressure.
  5. Wash off with tepid water.
  6. Follow up with a natural toner and moisturizer.

Toner

Ingredients: 

Fennel seeds control excess oil production and hydrate the skin.

  • Fennel seeds: 2 tablespoons
  • Water: 1 cup
  • Air-tight container: 1
  • Strainer: 1

Process:

  1. Add fennel seeds and water in a container and bring it to boil.
  2. Strain it out in an air-tight container when it cools down.
  3. Spritz this toner on face after applying the face wash.

Moisturizer

Ingredients: 

This light aloe-moisturizer won’t clog pores and also will keep the skin hydrated all day long.

  • Aloe vera gel: 2 teaspoons
  • Glycerine: 1 teaspoon

Process:

  1. Mix the ingredients in a container and the moisturizer is ready for use.

Frequency: 

Carry out this CTM routine twice every day, once in the morning and once at night to get the best results.

DIY CTM for dry skin

Cleanser

This cleanser will gently cleanse the skin without scraping off its natural oils.

Ingredients: 

  • Oatmeal: 1 tablespoon
  • Gram flour: 2 tablespoons
  • Airtight container: 1

Process:

  1. Add all the ingredients in a container and mix well.
  2. Add a little water in this natural face wash when in use.
  3. Apply it evenly all over your face.
  4. Gently massage for a few minutes in a circular motion applying light pressure.
  5. Wash off with plain water.

Toner

This toner will provide intense hydration to the skin and lock in the nourishment.

Ingredients: 

  • Mint leaves: 20-30
  • Cucumber: 1 cup, diced
  • Lime juice: 2 teaspoons
  • Air-tight container: 1
  • Strainer: 1

Process:

  1. Add all the ingredients in a blender & grind to form a paste with a runny consistency.
  2. Strain it out in an air-tight container.
  3. Spritz this toner on face after applying the face wash.

Moisturizer

Ingredients: 

This moisturizer will nourish the skin and also add a subtle glow to the skin.

  • Banana: Half a banana
  • Honey: 1 tablespoon
  • Lemon juice: half a teaspoon

Process:

  1. Blend the ingredients in a blender & grind well.
  2. Apply it all over the face once the toner dries out.
  3. Wash off with cold water after it dries out.
