1. Coconut Milk

Ingredients

  • Olive Oil – 3 Teaspoons
  • Coconut Milk – 1/2 Cup

Method

  1. In a pot, add the coconut milk and olive oil and place it on low heat for a couple of minutes to slightly warm it. The heat helps to combine the elements properly.
  2. Take it off the heat and gently massage the scalp with this mixture. Make sure all areas of the scalp are covered.
  3. Now proceed to apply the mix throughout the hair, moving from root to tip.
  4. Cover the hair and head with a shower cap and leave it on for 15 minutes.
  5. Wash the mixture off using a mild shampoo and warm water.
  6. Repeat this process once or twice a week for the best results.

2. Yoghurt

Ingredients

  • Plain Yoghurt – 6 Tablespoons
  • Egg – 1
  • Olive Oil – 3 Tablespoons

Method

  1. Place the yoghurt in a bowl and add the egg and olive oil to it. Mix it all well so that all the ingredients are properly incorporated.
  2. Apply this mixture on the scalp and hair and completely cover it with the mix.
  3. Wear a shower cap and leave it on for 15 minutes.
  4. Rinse it off using hot water followed by a shampoo and conditioner.

3. Cinnamon

Ingredients

  • Cinnamon Powder – 2 Tablespoons
  • Castor Oil – 6 Tablespoons
  • Rosemary Essential Oil – 10 Drops

Method

  1. Place the castor oil on low heat till it becomes comfortably warm enough to touch.
  2. Add the cinnamon powder to this followed by the rosemary essential oil drops. Mix it all well. A runny paste-like consistency should be formed.
  3. Massage this mix on the scalp for 5 minutes and then leave it on for 15-30 minutes.

  • Medium Ripe Avocado – 1

  1. Peel the avocado and place the pulp in a blender. To this, add the honey, olive oil and essential oil and blitz it up till a smooth paste is formed.

  • Aloe Vera Gel – 2 Tablespoons
  • Lemon Juice – 1 Tablespoon

Method

  1. In a bowl place the aloe vera gel and to this add the lemon juice. Mix it well so that both the ingredients are properly mixed.
  2. Gently massage this mixture on the scalp and hair. Make sure that all area of the head is properly covered with the mix.
  3. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes and then rinse it off using a mild shampoo followed by a conditioner.
