Apple Cider Vinegar & Aloe Vera for Skin

Ingredients :

  • 2-3 tablespoons of organic apple cider vinegar (with mother)
  • 1-2 teaspoons of aloe vera gel
  • 1 teaspoon of strongly brewed green tea
  • 2-3 teaspoons of sugar granules
  • 1/2 cup of water

Method :

  1. Brew green tea in a 1/4th cup of water for 5-10 minutes. Set aside and let it cool down.
  2. In a small bowl take the aloe vera gel and add the apple cider vinegar to it. Mix well.
  3. Add a teaspoon of the cooled down green tea brew. Blend with the mixture well.
  4. Mix it all with a half cup of water.
  5. Add sugar granules just 2-3 minutes before whenever you need to use the concoction, after setting aside the quantity sufficient for use.
  6. Apply to your skin using a cotton ball and continue by massaging it gently in a circular motion. Use the sugar granules for scrubbing purpose by massaging skin with it for 5 minutes.
  7. Let the mixture stay on for 15 minutes.
  8. Wash it off with a mild cleanser and moisturize skin.

This concoction can be used every day for best results. The green tea is rich in antioxidants due to which it helps keep skin young and radiant. Apple Cider Vinegar & Onion for Hair

Ingredients :

  • 1 onion
  • 3-4 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
  • 1-2 tablespoons of coconut oil

Method :

  1. Grind the onion into a paste.
  2. Add the apple cider vinegar to the onion paste and blend well till you get a consistent mixture.
  3. Add the coconut oil to this mixture and mix well.
  4. Apply this mixture onto your scalp and hair, working your way from the top to bottom.
  5. Leave it on for 10-12 minutes.
  6. Wash it off with plain cold water and a mild/ sulphate-free shampoo. Condition hair after this.
  7. For toning hair, you can also use 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar dissolved in a cup of water.
  8. This toner is to be poured onto your scalp and hair after conditioning and washing off the conditioner.
