1. Egg and Aloe Vera

The egg provides nourishment while the aloe vera contians strengthening properties that pair well with the egg for a wholesome treatment to the hair.

Ingredients

  • Egg Yolk – 3 Tablespoons
  • Egg White – 3 Tablespoons
  • Aloe Vera Gel – 4 Tablespoons
  • Olive Oil – 1 Tablespoon

Method

  1. Heat the olive oil in a bowl and keep it aside.
  2. In another bowl, mix in the egg white, egg yolk and aloe vera gel.
  3. To this, add the warm oil and stir it as much as possible.
  4. Apply this mixture on the hair from roots to the tip. Make sure it completely covers all areas of the scalp and hair.
  5. Leave it on for 30 minutes and then rinse it off with the help of cold water.
  6. Repeat this process once or twice a week for the best results.

2. Avocado and Banana

Ingredients

  • Ripe Avocado – 1/2
  • Small Banana – 1
  • Avocado Oil – 3 Tablespoons
  • Water – as per requirement

Method

  1. Cut and peel half of the avocado and place it in a blender.
  2. To this, add a bit of water followed by a peeled banana and avocado oil.

  • Besan – 2 Tablespoons
  • Yoghurt – 5 Tablespoons
  • Lime Juice – 2 Teaspoons
  • Olive Oil – 1 Tablespoon
  • Almond Flour – 1 Tablespoon
  • Honey – 1 Tablespoon
  • Water – 3 Teaspoons (optional)

Method

  1. In a bowl, mix the besan, yoghurt, lime juice, olive oil, almond flour and honey properly. If the mixture is too thick, add the water to make it runnier.
  2. Damp the hair and apply the mix from root to tip. Cover all areas of the head and wear a shower cap.
  3. Leave it on for 20 minutes and then rinse it off with warm water.
  4. If the hair feels rough, apply conditioner.
  5. Repeat this process once in two weeks.

4. Coconut Oil and Honey

Ingredients

  • Coconut Oil – 2 Tablespoons
  • Honey – 2 Tablespoons
  • Egg Yolk – 1

Method

  1. Place the coconut oil on the stove’s flame until it melts, and then keep it aside.
  2. Whisk in the honey till it is well combined.
  3. In a bowl, whisk the egg yolk and then add it to the coconut oil-honey mix and stir well.
  4. Apply this mix on the hair and massage it well so that it seeps into the roots of the scalp. Cover the hair with it completely.

5. Mayonnaise

Ingredients

  • Egg – 1
  • Mayonnaise – 1/2 Cup
  • Castor Oil  – 1 Tablespoon

Method

  1. In a clean bowl, place the cracked egg and whisk till it is fully combined. Then add the mayonnaise and castor oil to this and stir properly.
  2. Apply this mix on the scalp and hair with the help of a wide tooth comb. This helps the mixture go deep within the scalp. Cover the hair from root to tip.
